Volunteers and events

Forest Rally

Join the Australia-wide mobilisation for forests! The Bob Brown Foundation is holding rallies across the country calling on State and Federal Governments to protect native forests nationwide from logging and land clearing. Come along to the Perth Rally on Sat August 12, 11am at Parliament House. WA has led the way to end logging in native forests, now we need to ensure the permanent protection of the South West forests from mining and other threats, with an expanded system of National Parks and a watertight Forest Management Plan.

Black Cockatoo Crisis

Directed by Jane Hammond, this new documentary looks at the plight of our special cockatoos and what we can do to stop these threatened species from disappearing forever. The clock is ticking on our Black cockatoos. Will we save them in time?

Volunteer with WAFA

WA Forest Alliance has a long and proud history of being volunteer-driven. We rely on the community’s generosity and passion for forest conservation to help us achieve our campaign goals and protect the South West forests.

Co-work for Forests

We come together twice a week at our Boorloo (Perth) office to work on a range of tasks including painting signs, packing orders, printing T-shirts, data entry and more!

Wednesdays 12 – 4pm.
